What’s the difference between the Classic Version 2 and the Premium Version?

This is the first lighting kit I have ever purchased and am very pleased with the final result. I chose the premium version primarily because the nacelle lights are installed under the bricks unlike most other kits available. I took my time to install the kit over several evenings but found the video guide to be simple and easy to follow. Because each part is entirely separate you can choose which parts to include; I decided not to add the cabin lights around the saucer and am very happy with the final result. With patience it is very easy to place the wires in such a way that do not effect the overall build and they are only visible in one or two spots. If I have one criticism it's that the wire to supply power has a male USB-A connector, meaning a male USB-A to female USB-C adaptor has to be purchased to be able to connect it to the mains. A simpler and more modern solution would be appreciated. However all in all I thoroughly recommend this set.
Die Anleitung ist verständlich und die Teile vollständig. Leider ist die Verkabelung sehr kompliziert und das Raumschiff ist auseinandergefallen. Habe erstmal aufgegeben.
Instructions are sufficient but not clear. Some parts make the lego pieces not seat well enough to be secure. The star trek model's saucer section doesn't do well when trying to press pieces together when retrofitting the kit into an already built model. I've had to strip off the outer top panels to try to re-seat the structural parts underneath that get loosened when adding the lighting bits. There are two different lighting kits and when looking up the instructions, there are two instructions that match the identifiers within the kit and there's so clear information in the product listing or invoice to tell you which one to choose. The components are good and the bags are labeled well enough overall, I'm not sure I'd buy a similar set without more research or video reviews showing the process.
It took longer as to build the model but it paid off. Looks great.
The kit is complex to assemble, but not impossible. Very useful tweezers are provided.
The instructions are both in PDF and video format.
Follow them carefully and slowly.
I suggest applying the connector stickers only where needed; most can be placed without adhesive.
Once all the lights are installed, the nacelles cannot be removed for transport.
The disc section, however, can be detached at any time.
Very cool kit.
The professional lighting kit with the remote control is the final finishing touch this model needed.
The instructional videos were superb and really easy to follow. I’m not going to lie and say that squeezing that number of wires into the engine and still getting it to close properly was easy, and it was probably one of the most frustrating things I have done in a long time.
I can’t imagine the model now without the lighting kit and I would thoroughly recommend this product
Be ready to take your project apart and rebuild it again. Totally worth it when installed.

The light kit is nice and gives a "reality" impression of the Enterprise while some lights are able to blink.
The "cabin lights" are a bit tricky to fit snugly and the connecting cables are susceptible to breakage.
I bought this and was impressed with the wiring. I think the saucer lights and navigational deflector are pretty good, but I'm disappointed with the engine lights. It would seem most of the light kits for the Enterprise put the LEDs on top of the bricks instead of underneath, which is a huge let down. Plus this set has a weird double wrap on the rear of the engines. It looks great when the lights are on, but not when they're off. I hope they do a revisit where the lights are behind the transparent bricks, since that would look amazing with the lights on or off.
