This remote is great! It provides 4 separately controllable channels so you can light up different parts of your MOC separately. I've used this to create a traffic lights system by putting one red and one green on channel A and another red and another green on channel B, so I can turn on a red light on a crossing together with the green light on the perpendicular street, and vice versa. I'm giving 4 stars just because the remote doesn't come with an instruction leaflet so I had to discover its features by trial&error and I'm not sure I've got them all understood (e.g. not sure if there is a way to apply an effect like blinking to only one channel as opposed to all 4).

The manual gets hard to follow at the end. They built the sail wrong and that threw me off but I made it work. Once complete it looks really good.

I've received so many compliments with the light kit for this set. The lights really bring out the life of the set. I can't emphasize enough how amazing this looks. Definitely a decorative holiday piece for the upcoming Christmas party. The customer service was also amazing! The instructional video suddenly stopped playing and when I reported it to the customer service they replied multiple times the very next day with possible solutions and eventually uploaded a more recent and pertinent instructional video. On a side note, for those who purchased the music addition to the light kit the battery power bank is not powerful enough to display the lights and play sound simultaneously. Instead, utilize the USB wire extension to plug in to a powerful enough fully charged power bank in order for the lights and sound to work. I ended up connecting both the battery power bank and the USB extension. Overall, awesome and challenging build experience that definitely leveled up my Lego building skills.
